Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2024-10-19
FuryForm (“we”, “our”, or “us”) built Floating Clock as a free app. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information for people who use it.
Information collection and use
Floating Clock does not collect, store, or share personal or sensitive user data by default.
No personal data
The app does not collect, store, or process personal information from the user.
Network requests by default
The app does not send data to a server or third-party service unless you choose to use Network Time Protocol (NTP) time synchronization.
Optional NTP time synchronization
NTP synchronization is disabled by default. If you enable it, Floating Clock connects to an NTP server to retrieve the current time. The app does not transmit user data during this process; only time information is requested.
Permissions
Display over other apps
Floating Clock uses the Display over other apps permission for its primary function: showing the clock above other apps. The app does not collect data from this permission.
Data retention and deletion
Floating Clock does not collect or store user data, so there is no user-data retention or deletion process. Time information retrieved from an NTP server is used in real time and is not stored.
Data sharing and third parties
The app does not collect or share user data with third parties. When NTP synchronization is enabled, the app retrieves time information from the selected server without sending user data.
Security
FuryForm values your trust and develops Floating Clock with care for the security of its permissions and functionality. No method of transmission or software operation can be guaranteed completely secure, so keep your device and operating system updated.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page, and the policy will become effective on its published date.
